UPDATE: VIDEO RELEASED
August 29, 2012 - Images of Michelle Jordan, a 34-year old nurse, beaten by the Los Angeles Police Department on August 21, 2012 were released. The mother of a toddler was allegedly pulled over by LAPD's foothill division for cell phone use before being slammed to the ground twice. Reports indicate that she was "body slammed" to the groud the second time while handcuffed.

From the two officers involved, one was placed on "non-patrol" duties and the other on "paid" leave.

Captain Joseph Hiltner, the Commanding Officer of the Foothill Division Police Department was placed on paid leave and removed from his command.  According to the Chief Officer's Union, Hiltner would see his salary of in excess of $160,000 cut by 11 percent, but would retain his Captain III rank.

According to Police, LAPD's foothill division serves the communities of La Tuna Canyon, Lake View Terrace, Pacoima, Shadow Hills, Sun Valley, Sunland, and Tujunga. Comments regarding this incident can be addressed to:
