Jersey City, NJ – February 14, 2022 – Sintel Systems Global POS, the industry's single-source and direct omni-channel point of sale (POS)  innovator recognized for its top-grade POS hardware and innovative solutions including QSR drive-thru tech, announced the release of its latest self-serve fast food self-serve Kiosk system. The onset of the global pandemic in March of 2020 further emphasized the need for Sintel's Kiosk technology due to increased demand for omni-channel solutions and labor shortages.

The newly released QSR Kiosk offers a variety of features intended to both satisfy larger franchises,  smaller operations that are facing labor challenges and rising costs across the board, and the increased need to install Kiosk outdoors.  The demand and need for Kiosk to serve smaller operations has increased dramatically over the past 18 months and Sintel Systems team of engineers quickly responded by designing a versatile system. The challenge was to design a more compact system while maintaining the industrial quality of it and render it aesthetically pleasing.  That was in addition to ensuring that clients who utilized the systems either in drive-thru of outside would have the ability to easily install the systems in outdoor enclosures.

The kiosk is available in wall mount, pole stand, and newer space saver counter top as pictured.  The overall depth of the kiosk is significantly thinner offering more opportunity for  its installation on counters and walls. The installation base of the kiosk for counter tops is only inches larger than the base of the kiosks allowing its installation on the narrowest of counters. The inception of a more compact foot print arose for the need to more easily install the Kiosk in outdoor enclosure in drive thrus and outside settings. That idea extended to counter tops as small as 10 inches deep and 10 inches wide. No other commercial-grade Kiosk solution offers such flexibility with space limitations. The system is equipped with a receipt printer, keypad-less EMV credit card reader, and a 2-D bar/QR code scanner.

At the release of the Kiosk Sintel Systems announced that due to continued global chip shortage, the lead time for the new Kiosk will be 90 days for exiting clients and in excess of 120 days for new clients, but that the matter is fluid and can change at any time. The company also stated that hardware only sales to third parties that only use Sintel Systems hardware will continue to be suspended pending a reevaluation in July of 2022.
